Waldo Canyon Fire

I’ve lived in Colorado Springs for the past 21 years. Never have I experienced anything as awful as this. Not here, not anywhere. My prayers are with those who lost their homes and for those brave firefighters who kept the city from burning down. I’m sorry for the two people who died, and I hope they find the nine who are missing alive and well.

I’ve been a roofer in C/S all this time. I’ve tiled a lot of roofs in both Mountain Shadows and Peregrine. I can only hope that the tiles I laid helped keep those homes safe.
